pet
A little companion on the Windows desktop, always on top: a cardboard box or one of twelve figures (cat, dog, fox, bunny, hamster, owl, penguin, frog, axolotl, dragon, robot, ghost; cat, dog and bunny in nine coats). It says in a speech bubble what Claude is doing, shows permission requests, and lets you click Claude's questions and Next Steps' suggestions right in the bubble. Drag it anywhere; right-click for quiet time or another figure; optionally one pet per session, each with its own figure. Built once with the C# compiler that ships with Windows and signed with the Sign Guard script when one is set. /pet shows it, /pet cat calico picks a figure, /pet stop sends it off.
pet reaches L2 (writes or runs) and passed claude plugin validate on Claude Code 2.1.308.
- Events hooked: 7
- API methods referenced: 23
- Access from classified calls: L2, writes or runs: runs processes, writes files, changes config, drives Claude, writes the prompt box, reads files, reads env vars, reads the transcript, reads mod state, persists state, draws
- Reads mod state: the scan does not record whose state, so this does not show that it reads another mod’s values
- Static scan, not a runtime test

These are the hooks and API calls reported by claude plugin validate. Access levels describe the widest reach of those calls and are not safety ratings. Validation is a static check, not a runtime test, and a passing result does not prove that a mod works or is safe. What a mod can access and how the scan works.
